We're In Maine!!!

After breakfast and a fill-up off we went, left Brattleboro, VT around 10:45 am and almost immediately we were in NH. Wonderful, gorgeous scenery again, a real challenge for Henrietta on the ascents, but up we went up major ski mountains in 3rd gear no problem. After lunch in Concord, NH, we departed on our final leg to ME. I messed up and we entered an Interstate, 65 mph+, so I floored Henrietta and we zoomed along with Don on our tail at 48 mph instead of 45 mph. Whew!
At 3:50 pm we crossed from NH into ME and shortly thereafter we checked in at Village By the Sea in Wells, Me, just 4 miles from Kennebunkport. Don headed for his room to relax, Julie and I retreated to ours to plot our next move.
We drove Henrietta to Wells Beach where we had a walk on the beach and sniffed the Atlantic and chatted with a very sociable local couple who had admired the '31. A mile away we then enjoyed a great meal at Billy's Chowder House ( I had lobster.. Yummy!).
Looking forward to Tour registration tomorrow afternoon at the Colony Hotel. We're here!!!
