Land & Sea in Portland, ME

Left Kennebunkport around 9 am, got on Rte. 1 headed to Portland with a stop at a NAPA store where Sam got a spare fan belt, his was showing wear, and I picked up some coolant. Arrived in Portland at ~10:20 am , in fine shape despite many traffic lights, detours, and waving sidewalk and passing car fans. Then departed on a trolley tour of Portland at 11:10 which included a 30 min. stop at the Portland Head Lighthouse.
Back at the trolley depot Don, Julie and I grabbed a quick lunch and then boarded a boat for a magnificent tour of Casco Bay. Many islands, rocky shorelines, and choppy water with a chilly breeze. Much fun!
Back on shore we started up the A's and headed for Freeport. Pulling into the Harraseeket Inn at about 4:30 pm our 4 car caravan had picked up 3 more A's behind Don. Nice group!
Julie and I had some salad for dinner, and a deserved glass of wine, then went to LL Bean. What a place!
Photos below, time for bed, tomorrow we head for the Camden/Rockland area.
So far great fun!
